Here’s something cool Edric showed me today
I got this from my officemate, Ching. This is super hilarious! Here’s Jason and Franco doing a bodyslam!
Hahahaha! This made me laugh so hard! I miss you guys!
I’m here in Canada now … my first time to ever land on Maple Leaf country. The weather here isn’t that different from that in the Philippines during the daytime because it’s summer. At night time though, the temperature drops to about 18 degrees celsius, which is somewhat like Baguio’s weather.
So far, I’ve been mall hopping. I also watched my cousin’s hockey game. He’s in this league … although I honestly don’t know the details yet.
I felt giddy watching hockey though. It was truly something different.
I actually like it here. It’s so much different from the Philippines but I don’t want to live here because of the weather. I have allergies when the temperature suddenly changes, especially if it’s cold.
Oh! I forgot to mention that my aunt picked us up in a limo, which isn’t so rare around here … but in the Philippines, I guess if you want something new for tourists, they should be picked up by a jeepney. Haha. Weird but fun, eh? The limo thing was pretty cool, albeit a bit embarrassing because my dad loves to goof around. He’s super hyper the whole time. Haha.
So far, my trip here has been fun … I’ve only been here for 2 days … well, 3 since it’s past 12 midnight.
Anyway, will be sleeping soon!
Ciao!
I’ve been really busy lately, mostly due to my new (and totally amazing) work. I am now the community manager for a massive multiplayer online casual game called Audition. For the non-gamers out there, Audition Dance Battle is, as the name suggests, a dance game. It’s actually cute and easy to play. All you have to do is input the keys (up, down, left and right) while following the beat … sorta like Bust-a-Groove from Playstation.
Here are some screenshots:

You can check out my blog for Audition called the AudiLounge. Please do visit it.
I haven’t posted anything in this blog for quite a while now, and well, that sucks. Plus it looks all dreary and emo and … yeah, but then again, it made me realize how different I feel right now about things than a few months ago.
Sometimes I think I’m too much of a Gemini, you know? I mean, it’s always stated in those horoscope websites and astrology whatnots that we’re extremely moody and easily bored … blah di blah.
So after thorough examination, I think my blog needs a facelift. I just need to know what it should look like though, but I promise it WILL look more fun than this, and I’m pretty sure that’s easy. Haha. I mean, this site looks so …
Yeah. Haha. You get what I mean.
The next time I post, I promise everything will look different.
You know the feeling wherein you see something great or hear/read something witty, only to hear yourself thinking “I swear to God I thought about that even before this guy did. *rage*” I’ve felt that way a million times and I know that even if it’s silly to actually let it get to you, it does. But you got to hand it to these people, because they did what you weren’t able to do. They were able to express themselves. A little bit of effort goes a long, long way.
So what am I trying to say? Simply this. Idle hands have never created great things.

(Btw, you can make one of these too through Obamicon.Me … Although mine ended up looking more like “Que horror!”)
I want to increase the number of instances wherein I get to be that guy who brings out something fresh and innovative to others instead of the one who’s at the sidelines saying, “I’ve thought of that before.” or “I should have done something sooner.”
If you’ve noticed, I deleted some entries here. I decided to tweak things a bit. For awhile now, I’ve been itching to write more and more blog entries and I’ve been debating with myself on whether or not this site should actually be more text-heavy or not.
So now I’ve decided that I’d just delete some of my other entries and concentrate on just writing about the things I feel like writing about. Then, I’d just place the updates I have regarding my work within my posts, if anyone would care to read what I have to say.
Anyway, recently, I’ve read from plurkdom (one of those social network sites) that NTC is requiring Filipinos to cough up Php 6,000.00 for posting pictures, blog entries and whatnot in the internet. It’s called a content license, if I’m not mistaken. Of course, this hasn’t been enforced yet. It’s amazing how much FAIL a country can come up with. They come up with something that’s not even enforceable. Congratulations.
To add to the FAILBOAT, here’s another interesting story I’ve read in a forum post.
“Agrarian Reform Secretary Nasser Pangandaman Sr. and his son allegedly mauled two golf players, including a 14-year-old boy, inside a golf club in Antipolo City, Rizal province, on Friday afternoon.
Meanwhile, in a phone interview, the elder Pangandaman told the ABS-CBN News Channel that it was Dela Paz who started the incident by cursing at his son.
- ABS-CBN”
Of course, this is what media tells us, which is fine because these are merely the facts presented.
Now, here’s a link to the blog entry of the daughter of the man who got mauled. She was there during the incident and her entry gives the whole incident a different light. I think she’s really brave stating all this. It’s a scary thought to be in her shoes.
Philippines …

I. Paradoxical Feeling
Is it even possible to feel unproductive and stressed over work at the same time? I’ve been feeling that for over a week now. It sucks feeling this way. I want to feel like I contributed something important, at least to myself (i.e. I feel that I learned a new skill or that I “leveled up” a bit). Blah.
Maybe I feel this way because I haven’t been allotting my time to one single thing. When I work, I tend to do numerous things instead of sticking to one then moving to another. I’m not quite sure if that’s a good thing but it’s been working so far. I get my job done … I don’t think I leave some half-baked either.
Graaaaaaah! Watdahell! Ano buzzzzz! Ano ba nanyayari sa akin?! Graaaah! Hahaha. GADEMET!
To summarize everything, I feel so useless regarding thesis work!! I need to keep my head on the game … este … gold … gold thesis!
II. Feeling Shitty
I can’t believe I’ve been so insensitive lately (not that it’s anything new … manhid talaga ako). One of my closest friends, Ven, is leaving for Dubai and all I can say to him is to not leave at all. I mean, I should be more supportive instead of throwing tantrums and making him feel more miserable. I’ll get to see him next year anyway. Why am I being immature?? I’m 21 for crying out loud!!
Ven … sorry again.
I will miss you. Dubai!
III. Shameless Plug
Anyway, 3DayTrial has a gig on Saturday in the 8th Anniversary event of UP AME, UP AME 8th Avenue. Come and join the fun (oozing with choco and crispy wafers too. Yeah!)! If you’re an anime enthusiast, you’d probably like the event!
Come in your harajuku gear!
It’s in UP Bahay ng Alumni and it’s on Nov. 8, 2008. Yebah!
Basta, pumunta na lang kayo! Masaya siya! Pramis! Yun na yun! Hahaha. (Wow, that was very convincing …)
Today marks my last day of my OJT in Young & Rubicam Philippines. It was a good experience. I honestly learned a whole lot of things, such as setting the perfect contrast for photocopying newspaper images or mastering the art of typing in excel sheets, haha. Just kidding. Seriously, I really did learn a whole lot of things in the agency. I can’t wait to go job hunting once I graduate. I just hope I actually find a job. Hahaha.
Right now, my groupmates and I are suffering from enjoying thesis writing. It’s the shit! Fo sho! Hahaha. It’s the last step before graduation!
I’m super bored in the office right now. I’m just waiting for the next pile of stuff to do, which is why I’m actually blogging instead of posting a productive output. Well, fine, I still don’t have anything to post. I can’t post anything major as of yet … probably after thesis.
There are three things I really want right now.
First in the list is the … AHA!!NNNtennanator!
Yes, the Antennanator! For the frustrated artist/creatives/whatever. Hahaha.
Second is Khukhu the dog. Khukhu is my blockmate’s dog, and I want to steal him … but I can’t, unless I want to end our friendship and go to prison at the same time. Anyone out there who wants to give me a dog? (pref. one like Khukhu)
Isn’t Khukhu cute? I actually have a dog named Booba and I looooove her too, but I can’t carry her because she’s too fat and too big. I’ll look for a photo of Booba soon.
Third is Chocolate Mallows cake from Red Ribbon!
… Yum yum yum. I usually eat this after lunch, only if it’s available. I want a slice right now. (Isn’t it obvious that I’m boooored to death? Haha)
